I started during high school, living by a river in a sod hut I built myself. Ten years ago, I lived alone for almost ten years in the wild all over the northern hemisphere, winter and summer. Videos like this are a lot like television and movies in general, some useful info sprinkled with utter nonsense. If that "squirrel trap" ever catches a squirrel (I've had a squirrel see, then dodge,) an arrow moving 200 fps and fired from thirty feet away), I'll eat my hat (it's all I'll have to eat)

So far there have been 4 generations of warfare. 1st generation essentially was marked by mass armies clashing and the numerically superior one winning. The 2nd generation of warfare, started in the Civil War and really discovered in WWI was marked by highly effective defense and again based on attrition. 3rd generational warfare, in WWII, Korea, and others was mainly victory gained through swift offensives.

This was my 1st attempt to build panels. This way is way easy. I used a simple corner brace to help build the frames. It's actually FUN. I hung 2 bass traps and 6 2" side reflection panels (left, right and rear walls) and the room sounds a lot better. I plan to add more later... this was for home theater.

My local home improvment store could only order a huge load of them, so I'll go with what they got: two 50mm 65kg/m3 acoustic panels PAROC NRS 2t. With a dense layer of glass fiber on one side, these will hopefully work the same as owens corning with foil reinforced kraft paper.

Search online and it'll turn up plenty of places to get acoustic insulation. Some home improvement type places sell it too. As far as the "bass trap backer", they're referring to everything built so far at that point in the video, meaning the frame with the fabric attached.

@shogundapker Black just plays the Bishop to d7, attacking the Queen and protecting the Rook. It also gives Black the chance to retake the pawn on e5 and get Bishop to e7 in, castling and giving the knight the e8 square. Taking on c6 helps Black develop pieces and dilutes the attack. Knight to e4 centralizes the Knight and immobilizes the d6 pawn. Sometimes position is more important than material.

Black has to take with his queen (since if Black moves his King to e7, then Queen to a3 check wins), which then loses the Knight when the pawn takes back on f6. Black also has to watch c6 as well since that is weak too. d5 is a very bad move in this position.

I'm not sure of Clampett's involvement in this particular Snafu cartoon. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that a good majority of the Snafu cartoons were directed by Chuck Jones, along with help from a man named Ted Giesel (a.k.a. Dr. Deuss)
